Ebony Rickenbacker is a dedicated entrepreneur, educator, and tax professional who believes that financial literacy and education are the foundation of empowerment. As the CEO and Owner of Rickenbacker’s Tax Preparation Services, LLC, Ebony has built her business around a simple philosophy — to build the capacity of hardworking individuals in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area and beyond by helping them understand and navigate the ever-changing tax landscape.

With over a decade of experience in business and education, Ebony blends professional expertise with a personal commitment to service. She earned her Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in Human Resources from Strayer University, and her Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Psychology from Bowie State University, where she graduated cum laude. Her academic and professional background uniquely positions her to not only manage complex tax situations but also connect with clients on a human level — understanding their goals, challenges, and aspirations.

Beyond her role as a business owner, Ebony served as a Business Education Teacher at Gwynn Park High School in Brandywine, Maryland. As a certified NFTE (Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship) instructor, she taught Entrepreneurship courses that encouraged students to think critically, innovate, and take ownership of their futures. Her classroom was a space where theory meet practice — where real-world business knowledge, community impact, and financial education came together.
